Mottolino underground car park – 2026 Winter Olympics
The project involves the construction of the ‘Mottolino’ underground car park and the adaptation of the road network and connections in order to contextualise it in relation to the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic Games, which will involve the development of the Olympic area and related slopes in the vicinity. Starting from the revision of the preliminary project developed in 2005, an integrated design will be carried out to ensure, in addition to the detailed definition of the new work, adequate infrastructural connections to the urban context in terms of both private and public transport, with the aim of increasing the level of transport sustainability.
