Mario Fontana Secondary School
The project consists of a pure volume that will follow the current layout of the existing building, freeing up the lot and maintaining the connection with the existing portico. The building appears as a compact block that interacts with its surroundings, offering a green view to students attending classes without losing the intimacy and comfort of the interior spaces. The façade is divided into three slightly offset horizontal bands which, through a slight variation in the colour of the plaster, reflect the fragmentation and colouring typical of the housing units in the urban agglomerations of La Spezia.
