Bosco dello Sport – Viaduct completed
240 tonnes suspended in the night: when vision takes shape and safety is the priority.
During the night between 28 and 29 November, the central block of the new viaduct was positioned, which will connect the Tessera road network and Marco Polo Airport to the Bosco Dello Sport area of Venice. A strategic project for future mobility, built with a 48-metre, 240-tonne Corten steel segment, lifted, transferred and installed by a team of twenty technicians and three heavy-duty mobile cranes.
Supervising this crucial moment were Deputy Mayor Andrea Tomaello, City Councillors Alessio De Rossi and Matteo Senno, and the President of the Municipality of Favaro Veneto, Marco Bellato.
The viaduct is a fundamental part of a sustainable urban project that will change the face and liveability of the area. F&M Ingegneria plays a central role in coordinating safety during the execution phase, ensuring rigorous procedures, control and risk management at every stage, so that innovation and safety go hand in hand.
