F&M Ingegneria – Project & Cost Management for the redevelopment of the Hotel Bonvecchiati in Venice
F&M Ingegneria is providing Project & Construction Management and Cost Management services for the major redevelopment project of the Hotel Bonvecchiati, a prestigious historic Venetian building constructed in 1790 and located a short distance from St. Mark’s Square and the Rialto Bridge.
The project involves the creation of a new 5-star luxury hotel, consolidating the two existing structures – Hotel Bonvecchiati and Palace Bonvecchiati – into a new hotel with approximately 168 rooms.
The project also includes major renovation work, such as the restoration of the historic courtyard to transform it into the new main entrance and reception area, and the renovation of the ground floor spaces to house bars, restaurants, cafés and a bakery with public access, in line with a hospitality lifestyle formula.
The interior design of the rooms, common areas and catering facilities has been entrusted to the studio of Lazaro Rosa Violán, which reinterprets Venetian elegance in a contemporary key, enhancing the historical identity of the building.
F&M Ingegneria‘s activity involves the integrated coordination of the design and execution phases, with particular attention to the management of the interfaces between the architectural, plant engineering and structural disciplines, as well as the coordination of the various construction contracts in accordance with time and cost constraints. Our methodological approach guarantees compliance with the quality standards required for a high-profile project in a constrained urban context characterised by high logistical complexity.
The Cost Management service includes the preparation and updating of financial statements, continuous monitoring of variations and analysis of economic risks, ensuring maximum transparency and reliability in the financial management of the project.
This assignment confirms F&M Ingegneria’s experience in conducting redevelopment projects for historic accommodation facilities, combining the protection of architectural heritage with the adoption of innovative and sustainable technological solutions.
