New Tessera Sports Arena
The construction of the new Tessera Sports Arena marks an important step for the Municipality of Venice and the entire community. With the installation of the central compression ring, the project enters a decisive phase: a complex and imposing structural element that anticipates the future covering of the basketball court.
The ring, the heart of the structure, reveals the scale of the project:
- 165 tonnes of metalwork, assembled with millimetric precision
- 19.5 metres in diameter and 3.30 metres in height
- Lifting to a height of over 30 metres, thanks to perfect coordination between two heavy-duty cranes
An operation that combines expertise, technology and vision to create an infrastructure destined to become a landmark for sport and events.
