Access road to the 1st Industrial Zone
Construction of a new multi-level intersection along the SR11 to improve access to the First Industrial Zone of Marghera and facilitate the connection between the VEGA Technology Park and the new Ca’ Foscari University Campus. The new road junction consists of a 4-lane viaduct, a ground-level roundabout, an elevated roundabout on an artificial tunnel and access roads to the surrounding areas. The design requires special solutions because the area is dense with infrastructure (regional road and railway, underground services) and existing activities that must be safeguarded by the project and its implementation phases.
