New university building – Milan Bicocca University Campus
The U10/V19 project of the University of Milan-Bicocca consists of the construction of a new building complex comprising a university residence, teaching and office spaces, as well as a large equipped green area.
The project is located in the Bicocca district, between Viale dell’Innovazione, Via Fubini, Via Stella Bianca and Via Sesto San Giovanni, in an area undergoing a major urban transformation from a former industrial district
to a modern university and research centre. The complex is divided into: Building U10.1: A 17,000 m² GFA building intended for university functions (classrooms, departments, offices, study areas). Building U10.2: A 3,000 m² GFA building intended for high-quality university accommodation, with 104 beds, shared facilities and recreational areas. Area V19: 19,200 m² of green space, designed for recreational activities, environmental studies and public use.
